GESE Initial Stage (Grades 1,2,3)
This online course focuses on the Initial Stage of Trinity’s Graded examinations in Spoken English exams (GESE 1, 2 and 3). Throughout this course we will explore the communicative skills, language functions, lexis and phonology required by the exam, consider ways to prepare our students to take part in an assessment that reflects the way they learn English in today’s world and share best practices with fellow participants.
The Topic task - GESE & ISE
This online course focuses on the “Topic” component of Trinity’s Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE – Grades 4-12) and Integrated Skills in English (ISE F – ISE III). During this short course we will explore the topic task, consider ways to help our students improve their performance in this task and share best practices with fellow participants.
The Interactive / Collaborative task - GESE and ISE
This online course focuses on the “Interactive / Collaborative” component of Trinity’s Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE - Grades 7-12) and Integrated Skills in English (ISE II and ISE III). Throughout the course we will explore the Interactive / Collaborative task, consider ways to help our students improve their performance in this task and share best practices with fellow participants.
Integrated Skills in English - Independent Listening Task
This online course focuses on the “Independent listening task(s)” of Trinity’s Integrated Skills in English exams. Throughout the course we will explore independent listening, consider ways to help our students improve their performance in this task of the exam and share best practices with fellow participants.
